All MCTC campuses will operate remotely on Friday, January 30, due to winter weather. All buildings and parking lots will remain closed, and student services will be available online or by phone. All on-campus activities are canceled or will be rescheduled. Students, please contact your instructors for more information regarding class work.

How to Apply

MCTC welcomes students who have earned GEDs instead of graduating from high school. The application process is straightforward, and we’re here to help. Just follow these four easy steps:

  1. Submit the Application for Admission. It’s free, and it only takes about 15 minutes to complete.
     
  2. Send us your final GED transcripts or high school equivalency diploma.
     
  3. Send us the transcripts from any other colleges you’ve attended. You can order or college records at the National Student Clearinghouse.
     
  4. Submit your ACT or SAT scores or the results of placement testing.
     
  5. Explore financial aid. Generous scholarships, grants and loans make a great education even more affordable. Here’s how.
