The Center for Career Development and Experiential Learning can be your one-stop shop for everything related to employment, internships, or apprenticeships. Our goal is
to connect our students and alumni to the workforce, to help you be successful throughout
the course of your career. So, if you need assistance starting a resume or simply
brushing it up, figuring out what you want to do with your life, practice interviewing,
searching for jobs, getting career advice, starting a LinkedIn account, or finding
an internship, please stop by and see us.
Our center is located on the Maysville Campus right across from Fields Auditorium
and we are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday and
Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Or you can schedule an appointment and we will
try our best to meet at a time that is convenient for you. Please see the Meet Our

Our free workshops are offered on all of our campuses. Topics include resume writing, job searching, interviewing skills, workplace communication and workplace ethics.

Students
Our exclusive job board will help you create your online resume and your portfolio. It provides free downloads on career advice documents, podcasts, and allows you to view and apply to local, as well as, national jobs.
- Go to College Central Network (CCN).
- Select the Student icon.
- Select the Register Now link.
- Use your student ID number as your Access ID (Example: 001234567) and then create a password (Example: Getajob123).
Employers
Post a job opening (full-time, part-time, internships, co-op).
- Go to College Central Network (CCN).
- Select the Employers icon.
- Select the Register Now link.
- Enter registration info and create an Access ID.

Meet our Staff
Angie Potter is a graduate of Morehead State University where she earned a bachelor in business
administration and a master in arts degree, focusing on adult and higher education.
Angie is currently serving as the Center for Career Development and Experiential Learning
Coordinator and Accelerating Opportunity Coordinator at Maysville Community & Technical
College.
Angie has served as the staff representative on MCTC Board of Directors. She served
as a co-liaison during the Foundations of Excellence Kentucky Transfer Focus Initiative.
In 2014, Angie completed leadership training and was awarded Leadership Horizon Certificate.
Angie has always been a strong supporter of education and in 2006, while serving as
the Chair of the Lewis County Adult Education Advisory Council, she was awarded the
Kentucky Association of Adult and Continuing Education Supporter of the Year award.
Currently she is an active member of the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce and the
Adult Education Advisory Council, where she is working on the Work Ready Communities
initiative and is serves as the lead on the educational attainment committee.
