Due to winter weather, all MCTC campuses will operate remotely on Wednesday, February 19. All campus buildings will be closed. Student services and classes will operate remotely. If you have questions about coursework, please contact your instructors.
 

MCTC Service Learning Scholarship

Maysville Community and Technical is now offering Service-Learning Scholarships to current students. Service-learning allows students to gain academic knowledge and practical experience while serving their community. Service-learning can occur through internships, field education, community service and volunteerism. Students who wish to apply for the scholarships must meet the following eligibility requirements: a minimum of 15 credit hours taken in previous semester(s), minimum 2.5 GPA and must have completed at least one or more service-learning projects and/or experiential learning experience within the college’s service area in the 12 months prior to the application deadline AND have performed a minimum of 15 hours of service. Applicants must provide a maximum two (2)-page (single-spaced, 12-pt. font) essay explaining the service(s) performed and how it enhanced your learning experience and/or increased your awareness of community needs and civic duties; two (2) reference; and proof of service (through references, recommendation letters or other documentation).
