All MCTC Campuses Remote - Friday, Jan. 30

All MCTC campuses will operate remotely on Friday, January 30, due to winter weather. All buildings and parking lots will remain closed, and student services will be available online or by phone. All on-campus activities are canceled or will be rescheduled. Students, please contact your instructors for more information regarding class work.

New Student Orientation

Welcome to MCTC! We’re so glad you’re here!

New Student Orientation is your first step toward a successful semester – and we’ve made it easy by combining the convenience of an online course with personalized, in-person support.

Complete the Online Orientation Course

All new students begin by completing our online, self-paced orientation course. You’ll get important information about:

  • Your academic program and course schedule
  • How to access your student accounts (email, Blackboard, Student Self-Service)
  • Campus resources like advising, financial aid, tutoring, and more
  • Tips for success in your first semester

The course opens in mid-July and can be completed anytime, from anywhere. We recommend finishing it before attending your in-person appointment.

Attend a New Student Drop-In Appointment

After finishing the online course, join us on-campus for a New Student Drop-In Appointment on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at all MCTC Campuses (Licking Valley, Maysville, Montgomery, and Rowan).

During your appointment, you can:

  • Ask questions about your schedule, financial aid, and bill
  • Get help setting up your student accounts
  • Pick up your student ID
  • Purchase or order your textbooks
  • Explore your campus and meet with faculty and staff
