Maysville, KY (March 4, 2011) Tickets are running out for Farm and Family Night. This free event will be held Tuesday, March 15, from 4:30 9:00 on the Maysville Campus of Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC). MCTC Workforce Solutions will be hosting the evenings events in conjunction with local UK Cooperative Extension and Ohio State Extension offices.
Due to limited seating participants need a ticket to attend. Tickets may be picked up at the Mason, Lewis, Robertson, and Fleming County Extension Offices in Kentucky, or the Adams and Brown County Extension Offices in Ohio. Tickets are also available at the Maysville Campus of MCTC located at 1755 US Hwy 68 in Maysville.
We are getting calls for tickets every day, said Jessica McGlone of Workforce Solutions at MCTC. They are getting scarce so we recommend people go to their county Extension Office to pick up tickets as soon as possible.
More than 45 concurrent sessions on farm and home topics will be offered at this event. A variety of topics will be addressed including Cattle Management, Equine, Gardening, Bioenergy, Technology for Farm Use, Living Well, and many more. Youth-focused sessions such as Livestock Judging and Fun with Foods for Kids! will also be featured. Dinner and registration begin at 4:30 p.m. Babysitting will be provided by the YMCA for children up to four years of age. Farm Credit Services of Mid-America is the title sponsor for the event.
