Lorrina Blevins begins Presidency of The Kentucky Safety and Health Network August 1

image of Lorrina BlevinsMs. Lorrina Blevins has been appointed president of the Kentucky Safety And Health Network and has begun her term as of August 1. She was elected to The Kentucky Safety and Health Network in 2005 and served four years as treasurer. The Network will host the 28th annual Governors Safety and Health Conference in May of 2012. This conference allows networking for safety professionals and businesses providing them information to better protect their employees from hazardous conditions in the workplace.

Lorrina works at Maysville Community and Technical College as the Workforce Development liaison on the Maysville and Cynthiana Campuses as well as the Donald W. Kiser Paris Extension. She resides in Morehead, Kentucky with her daughter, Sierra.

Lorrina received both her AA degree in University Studies and her BA in Health Promotion along with a minor in Environmental Studies and is working on her Master of Arts from Morehead State University. Prior to her employment with MCTC Lorrina worked with Kentucky State Government as an administrative specialist with Charitable Gaming and as a compliance officer in the Kentucky Labor Cabinet with OSHA. Lorrina is also a Board member of Leadership Horizons and Treasurer of Ohio Valley Personnel Association (OVPA).
