Join MCTC Workforce Solutions to learn the amazing art of ceramics October 15 December 3 on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 p.m 3:00 p.m . in the Calvert Building room 225 on the Maysville Campus.
Participants will learn to wedge the clay and learn the hand-building techniques of pinch, coiling, and soft-slab to form bowls and bowl-like containers. They will also enjoy a ceramic wheel demonstration with the opportunity to explore centering and forming bowls in this manner with their own creations.
This class will be participating in the local Empty Bowls project. Participants will have the chance to create and donate a ceramic bowl for this upcoming event. More information about Empty Bowls can be found by visiting www.emptybowls.net.

Participants at least 65 years of age can also request information about attending this class free of charge through the Donovan Scholarship.
