Maysville Community and Technical College continues to show excellence in nursing assistant training, ranking number one in Kentucky for 2026 on Research.com.
“This is a reflection of MCTC’s commitment to providing high-quality, hands-on healthcare education that prepares students for success,” said Jacquelyn Tumlin, program coordinator for the Medicaid Nurse Aide (MNA) program. “It affirms the meaningful impact not only on our students, but also on the healthcare workforce and the communities we serve.”
With nursing aide instructors who bring extensive healthcare experience to the college, students are exposed to the knowledge and skills that are necessary in providing hands-on care to long-term care patients.
“Our staff and faculty work diligently to ensure students have the support they need to succeed, and our students embrace the challenge and consistently strive to achieve excellence in the classroom and in the clinical setting,” Tumlin said.
Being ranked the top nursing assistant training program in the state instills confidence in prospective students when choosing where to pursue their credentials.
“We are honored to receive this recognition. It reflects the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, students, and healthcare partners. We look forward to continuing to prepare students to become compassionate, confident healthcare professionals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of those whom they serve,” Tumlin said.
