Maysville Community and Technical College’s Paramedic/Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
program recently received a 100% pass rate on the National Registry Paramedic Exam,
setting a bar for future EMS students in the area.
Donald Fryman, paramedic/EMS program coordinator and instructor, remarked on the performance of his former students.
“This accomplishment reflects the dedication of our students, the commitment of our faculty, and the strong support of the communities these new paramedics will soon serve,” he said. “Though small in number, this cohort demonstrated exceptional capability, perseverance, and professionalism.”
This graduating cohort of the paramedic/EMS program is the first since the program was restructured. Fryman noted the influence of the program.
“Our restructured 15-month paramedic program, along with the option to earn an associate in applied science degree, continues to show meaningful impact. Of the five graduates, two have also completed their associate degree. This further strengthens their academic and professional foundation,” he said.
He continued, “We congratulate each graduate on this outstanding achievement and look forward to the contributions they will make in the field of emergency medical services.”
