Definitions

A dual credit course is a college-level class in which high school students earn high school and college credit. These courses are developed in accordance with KRS 164.098, the Kentucky statute that defines dual credit courses.

A concurrent enrollment course is a dual credit course that’s offered at the participating high school. It’s usually taught by a qualified high school instructor.
