Campus Facilities Usage Guidelines for Community Organizations

The college welcomes community organizations to use campus facilities and recognizes that there are costs for any activity within the college facilities. If the college is a co-sponsor of an event, the college will then have the option to either absorb associated costs or negotiate said costs with the non-college group involved. For use by non-profit groups, room usage fees are waived, but service fees may apply. For use by for-profit groups, the full estimated cost of use should be paid by the non-college group. Service fees can include room usage, labor and material, maintenance, media technician and equipment.

The following is a schedule of fees and requirements that users must adhere to when requesting the MCTC Campus facilities. The Campus Director and Facility Manager will screen applications for approval or disapproval and make decisions on requests in accordance with this policy and KCTCS Administrative Procedures 5.3.4-P Use of KCTCS Facilities by Outside Agencies' or Groups, and any other guidance provided by the MCTC President and/or legal counsel.
