
Lineman

Our experienced instructors will use proven training methods from the line utility industry to prepare you for employment. You will receive 317 hours of training and upon successful completion, you will have earned a Class A CDL license, OSHA flagger certification, first aid & CPR certification and OSHA 10 training in addition to the Lineman certification.
How long will I take classes?
This 10-week course meets Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Where will I take classes?
Rowan Campus (Morehead) and Licking Valley Campus (Cynthiana)
What can I do when I graduate?
Careers in this industry consist of working in conditions such as rain, sleet, snow,
at night and high winds. Most work stations are elevated, so if you have a fear of
heights this may not be a career for you. Safety is the highest priority in this industry
so students must always be aware of high voltage areas.
