1. Sandy’s Corner
Sandy’s Corner is a welcoming, child-friendly space located in Enrollment Services at each MCTC campus, giving children a place to play while their parent or caregiver takes care of college business. The space is named in honor of retired MCTC Financial Aid Director Sandy Power, whose career was dedicated to understanding student needs, removing barriers, and helping students find the support they needed to succeed.
2. Parenting Student Support Grant – Childcare Assistance
Through the Kentucky Student Success Collaborative (KYSSC) Parenting Student Support
Grant, MCTC has limited funding available to assist eligible student parents with
childcare expenses, including childcare costs and required co-pays. Assistance is
based on individual need and availability of grant funds.
