Each year the Kentucky Business Society (KBS) awards two $250 and one $500 scholarship to applicants attending a Kentucky college or university and majoring in a business field.

Criteria for winning the scholarship include the student’s grade point average, an application essay, and other supporting documents such as transcripts as well as a letter of recommendation from a member of the business faculty from the student’s school.

The Kentucky Business Society is a professional organization made up of business educators in the state who seek to network with one another and with area business leaders with the purpose of creating meaningful and relevant business courses in Kentucky.  Members of KBS look for input from business leaders to help guide business curriculum.

Upon graduation from MCTC, Montgomery plans to transfer to a four-year university and complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
