MCTC alumnus servicing Northern KY area

Chase Stafford is sharing his story as a Maysville Community and Technical College alumnus.

Stafford, a 2020 graduate of the HVAC program, has used the skills that he gained in college across the South, including Dallas, Texas; Charleston, South Carolina; Houston, Texas; and Brunswick, Georgia.

Now, Stafford is a service manager at Gillespie’s Heating & Cooling in Brooksville, Kentucky. The company services all of Northern Kentucky, he said.

“My education from MCTC provided the foundation I needed to earn my journeyman’s license and provide quality service to homeowners and businesses all over the southeastern US,” Stafford remarked.

He shared some advice with his fellow alumni and prospective students.

“My advice to anyone interested in MCTC or the trades is to chase that dream relentlessly,” Stafford said.

According to Stafford, he has never had a “problem finding a job.”

“The opportunities are endless. MCTC paved the way to an excellent living and adventure for myself and my family,” he remarked.
