The 35th annual Summer Scholarship Scramble (SSS) at Maysville Community and Technical College was a success, raising over $8,000 for student scholarships.

“Celebrating the SSS is a testament to the incredible support, dedication, and camaraderie of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and committee members,” said Cara Clarke, Executive Director of the MCTC Foundation.

With 94 golfers, 16 teams took their swings at making it into the top four placements at the end of the day. Official placements are:

First: Richie Mason’s Team

Second: Trace Creek Construction Team

Third: Phillip Grayson’s Team

Fourth: Laurel Oaks Team

There were prizes for multiple special holes, such as closest to the pin and longest drive as well.

“What began as a simple tournament has grown into a cherished tradition that brings our community together year after year. Thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone event such a tremendous success. We look forward to building on this legacy for many years to come,” said Clarke.
