Groskreutz named MCTC SOM for May 2026

Dazy Groskreutz has been named Maysville Community and Technical College’s May Student of the Month (SOM).  

Groskreutz is a participant in Ready to Work (RTW) and Student Support Services (SSS). In addition to this, she is a work study for Enrollment Services, where she assists students with financial aid and admissions. 

“She is helpful, kind, and considerate in her communication with and assistance to students. She treats students, colleagues, and visitors with respect and is perfect in that role,” said Angie Potter, Groskreutz’ nominator and Director of SSS. 

Groskreutz is also a full-time student on the Maysville Campus who is pursuing an associate in applied science in Human and Social Services degree and a mother. 

“Dazy has grown so much as a student. Human and Social Services is the ideal program for her, as she was born to help others and to impact lives. She has a bright future ahead of her,” said Potter. “She is definitely a great role model for her son!”
