An evening of sipping, sparkling, and supporting students
Published on Mar 25, 2026
The highly anticipated Wine, Jewels, & More event is back for its second year, bringing
a night of elegance, solidarity, and generosity.
“On Monday, April 13, we’re thrilled to welcome back this wonderful event,” said Cara Clarke, Executive Director of the Maysville Community and Technical College Foundation and event coordinator. “After an incredible event in 2025, we’re excited to bring the community together once again for an evening of fun, connection, and purpose, all in support of MCTC’s Student Emergency Fund.”
MCTC’s student emergency fund is used for need-based scholarships, emergency aid, nursing licensure exam fees, and other needs to help students remain enrolled and complete their education.
This affair promises an evening filled with “diamond drinks” in the Champagne Diamond Game sponsored by Traxel’s Jewelry Store, hors d’oeuvres, wine, cocktails, and a silent auction featuring an array of incredible items—including a 2.53-carat blue sapphire generously donated by EAT Gallery.
“With great food, drinks, and even better company, this promises to be a memorable night. We invite everyone to join us by registering or becoming a sponsor. We look forward to seeing you there,” said Clarke.
This year, there are three levels of sponsorship. Anyone can contribute and receive
recognition, based on the type of sponsorship gifted.
Gentleman can be a “Jewel” of a Guy by donating $100. With this, they will receive recognition at the event, on social media, and in the MCTC campus newsletter.
Women can be a “Diamond” of a Lady for $100. With this, they will receive name recognition at the event, on social media, and in the MCTC campus newsletter.
Businesses can be a “Gem of a Business” for $250. With this, they will receive 2 tickets and name recognition at the event, on social media, and in the MCTC campus newsletter.
Wine, Jewels, & More will be held on Monday, April 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at The Limestone Center in downtown Maysville. Tickets are $50 per person.
To purchase tickets, go to the Wine, Jewels & More ticket page.
