Maysville Community and Technical College is pleased to announce the institution has been named 2025 Large Business of the Year by the Maysville-Mason County Area Chamber of Commerce.

According to the chamber, the award recognizes a business that has shown a deep commitment to the Mason County community.

Some of the criteria to receive the award includes excellence in employment, innovation, customer service, community engagement, and making a meaningful difference.

“This year’s winning business is known for going the extra mile, not just in what they produce or provide, but in how they treat people,” said Shea Bisotti, director of the Maysville-Mason County Area Chamber of Commerce. “Whether you’re on their team or in their town, you feel the impact of their commitment.”

MCTC President/CEO Dr. Laura McCullough remarked on the institution’s nomination award.

“The college and I are truly humbled by this unexpected honor shown to us by the community we serve. I am convinced it is our employees and students who make us great. Thank you to all who voted MCTC to be the 2025 Large Business of the Year,” she said.

Staci Richardson, director of Human Resources at MCTC expressed gratitude for the recognition as well.

“This was such an incredible moment for all the nominees and award recipients recognized by the chamber. This award truly reflects the dedication and hard work of our employees who make our college what it is—great faculty, staff, and leadership who show up everyday to support our students and serve our community. I see the commitment and enthusiasm our teams bring, and it’s deeply rewarding. We are honored and grateful for this recognition, and excited for the opportunities ahead,” she said.
