The day highlighted the importance of what makes MCTC’s community unique—empowering students, building connections, utilizing resources, and celebrating each person’s journey from enrollment to achievement.

A panel of RTW and TRiO alumni shared their stories, allowing them to express sincerity, gratitude, and pride for having gone down their academic journey with MCTC.

"One of the most powerful moments of the day was the student panel, where graduates answered questions about their experiences at MCTC,” said Christy Kissick, the event coordinator and student success coach/alumni coordinator on the Rowan Campus. “They shared stories about the people and moments that had the most significant impact on them, moving the audience profoundly. The panel was not just about sharing stories—it served as a reminder of the meaningful work we do."

“It all began right here in the spaces where someone said, 'You can do this,’” remarked Kissick. “This event reminded us of something more profound. It was exactly what my heart needed and I believe many others felt the same. It lifted us, united us, and reminded us that while we come from different paths and hold different ideas, we are all changing lives for the better at MCTC.”
