34th annual MCTC SSS a success

Maysville Community and Technical College is pleased to announce that the 34th annual Summer Scholarship Scramble (SSS) was a success, raising over $7,000 for student scholarships. 

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made the 34th MCTC Summer Scholarship Scramble a resounding success,” said Cara Clarke, Golf Committee Chair. “This event not only strengthens our friendships but also directly impacts our students’ success.”

Of the 100 golfers that participated, 17 teams took their swings at making it into the top four placements at the end of the day. Official placements are:

• First: Laurel Oaks
• Second: Richard Fuller’s Team
• Third: Gordy Jones’ Team
• Fourth: Cheap Chevrolet

There were prizes for multiple special holes, such as closest to the pin and longest drive as well.
