MCTC announces candidacy with ACEN

Maysville Community and Technical College is excited to announce its application for candidacy with Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) has been granted for the practical and associate degree nursing programs. 

The practical nursing programs are offered at the Maysville and Rowan campuses. 

The associate degree nursing programs are offered at the Maysville, Licking Valley, and Montgomery campuses.

Effective April 21, 2025, this nursing program is a candidate for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. This candidacy status expires on April 21, 2027.

Note: Upon granting of initial accreditation by the ACEN Board of Commissioners, the effective date is the date on which the nursing program was approved by the ACEN as a candidate program that concluded in the Board of Commissioners granting initial accreditation.
