Bailey named January MCTC Student of the Month

Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC) has named Avery Bailey Student of the Month for January 2024.

Avery is currently working on his HVAC Mechanics diploma at MCTC-Montgomery Campus and is a student in the Student Support Services program. He hopes to one day pursue an associate degree and plans to begin taking real estate classes in the fall.

Courtney Myers, Student Support Services College Counselor, says Avery is excelling in his coursework, while working full-time, attending school full-time, and supporting his wife and children.

“Avery is always timely, prepared, respectful, and overwhelmingly grateful for assistance from MCTC,” she says. “Even with all of his responsibilities, Avery will take the time to join the SSS group and take advantage of the resources available to him.”
