MCTC Holds 54th Annual Commencement

Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC) held its 54th annual commencement ceremony on Friday, May 5th at the Montgomery County High School Arena. The college recognized 415 graduates from our four MCTC campuses: Licking Valley (Cynthiana), Maysville, Montgomery (Mt. Sterling), and Rowan (Morehead).

 

 

The student-led ceremony began with the signing of the National Anthem by graduate

Hunter Jordan and the invocation by graduate Jayden Cohelia. Dr. Laura McCullough, MCTC President/CEO, and Ms. Lisa McCane, MCTC Board of Directors Chairperson, welcomed those gathered to honor the graduates. Dr. McCullough presented the President’s Award of Excellence to Rebekah Lynn Beighle (Licking Valley Campus), Elizabeth Johnson (Maysville Campus), Andrea Ginter (Montgomery Campus), and Sarah Jane Pease (Rowan Campus). Ms. Johnson gave the student address.

Following those recognitions, candidates were presented by Dr. Dana Calland, chief academic officers, and degrees conferred by Dr. McCullough.
