2026 Graduation Information

Plans for the Maysville Community and Technical College Commencement Ceremony for Summer 2025, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 graduates have been finalized. All graduates, families and friends are invited to attend. Location and details are as follows. RSVPs are not required.

Friday, May 8, 2026 @ 6:00 p.m.

Cap and Gown

Caps, gowns, and tassels may be purchased online by visiting MCTC Graduation Products up to one month prior to graduation. We strongly encourage early online ordering. Limited regalia will be available in the Maysville Campus Barnes & Noble bookstore.

Check-in

Check-in at the Registration Table at commencement. Check-in will begin at 5:00 pm. Upon check-in you will receive a note card with your name on it and an honor cord, if you are an honor graduate. We will have commencement staff at the main entrance of the site to direct you to the Registration Table.

Ceremony

Line-up for the commencement processional will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 and will last approximately one hour. During the ceremony, graduates will be called to the stage by degree type (AA, AS, AAS, Diploma, Certificate) and will hand their enclosed name card to Dr. Dana Calland, Vice President of Academic Services, upon reaching the stage during the ceremony so she can read their name. Then graduated will return to and remain in their seat until the ceremony has concluded.

Credentials

Credentials for Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 graduates have already been mailed. Spring 2026 credentials will be mailed in June.
