I am always impressed by our students abilities, said Dr. Lynn Shaffer, associate professor of English at MCTC, but this years entries were especially strong, as diverse and interesting as the students themselves. I am glad to be able to recognize formally their talents and individuality. Their words provoked laughs and tears, sometimes both at once.
