Keep Kentucky Working Expo Scheduled for October 6th
MAYSVILLE, KY- The Keep Kentucky Working EXPO will be held for a second year on the Maysville Campus of Maysville Community amp; Technical College Wednesday, October 6th, from 9:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. in the Calvert Lounge and Fields Lobby. The event is geared toward those individuals who have recently been laid off, those looking for a career change and/or those just looking for resources such as educational opportunities, managing finances and childcare.
The event will include a full scope of options for participants ranging from breakout sessions to exhibitor booths. Breakout sessions will include resume writing, how to ace an interview, and saving money in areas such as utilities, household budgeting, and healthcare. Exhibitors include job options, educational opportunities, and other resources such as childcare. Also included in the Keep Kentucky Working EXPO will be a Dress for Success...For Less, fashion show that will showcase professional and affordable fashions.
The tentative schedule includes:
9:00 a.m. - Breakfast (juice/coffee and donuts)
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Exhibitors Open
9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Breakout Sessions (each session will be 30 minutes)
12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Fashion Show
12:30p.m. - 1p.m. Door Prizes
