Maysville, KY (June 26, 2012) Maysville Community and Technical College is hosting a day of golf, food, fun, and prizes to help provide summer scholarships for MCTC students. The 21st annual MCTC Summer Scholarship Scramble will be held Saturday, July 14, at Laurel Oaks Golf Club located at 808 U.S. Hwy 62, in Maysville. Tee Off begins at 8:00 a.m.
Cash and other prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winning teams. Six person teams will be assigned by the golf committee and will be announced by 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13. Prizes will also be awarded for special holes including a Hole-In-One automobile prize provided by McFarland Chevrolet Buick. Every golfer receives a participation gift.
A raffle and door prize drawing will take place at the end of the tournament.
The participation fee is $65, which includes greens fees, cart rental, continental breakfast, and lunch. Mulligans will be available for $5 each. Food and beverages are provided by Pepsi Cola Bottling Company of Ripley, Ohio, Kentucky Kandy Kitchen, and The Store Downtown.
