The MCTC Center for Career Development and Experiential Learning serves four main purposes: career development, experiential learning, soft skills development and workforce development. These areas focus on employee referrals, resume assistance, mock interviewing, internships, college credit for professional experience, curriculum alignment with company training, soft skills certification, jump start scholarships, and much more.

The last job fair that we had in this community was a couple of years ago so we wanted to have another regional job fair that brought several companies together from a wide area, said Boone. We have several companies from our service area, and even a couple from Northern Kentucky that will offer part-time, full-time and even internship opportunities.

Job seekers can take advantage of free assistance prior to the job fair, such as resume writing, mock interview practice and career assessments by calling 606-759-7141, ext. 66112 or ext. 66180. If you are a hiring company and wish to participate, space is still available. Call to reserve your space today.
