FOUR CANDIDATES NAMED IN PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH FOR MCTC

Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) President Michael B. McCall announced today the names of four candidates to be interviewed for the position of President/CEO at Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC). The finalists are:

Jennifer S. Gentry, Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement; Virginia Community College System; Richmond, Virginia
Mark O. Kinlaw, Vice President for Instruction and Support Services, Robeson Community College; Lumberton, North Carolina
Juston C. Pate, Chief Academic Officer, Maysville Community and Technical College; Maysville, Kentucky
Stephen M. Vacik, President, Colby Community College; Colby, Kansas

The candidates are scheduled for on-campus visits and interviews November 6-7. During those visits candidates will meet with MCTC faculty, staff, students and the MCTC Board of Directors. The general public will also have an opportunity to meet the candidates at designated community forums. A schedule of the community forums will be announced once itineraries are confirmed.

The new president of MCTC will begin his/her appointment January 1, 2015.
