This year’s event keynote speaker will feature Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture, Ryan Quarles.
Participants will get to choose from a program of concurrent sessions on farm and home including cattle management, forage, alternative crops, technology, horticulture, wildlife management, sustainable agriculture, beekeeping, cooking, home management, health issues and more. Experts on these subjects will discuss herd nutrition, putting up quality hay, beef cattle outlook, sheep and goat production, weed control, soil health, hemp and hops production, poultry production, wildlife plots, organic production, living off the grid, beekeeping, edible landscaping, using plant oils and more. Home related experts will explore healthy appetizers, making your own sauces and soups, decluttering your home, crockpot and one pot meals and much more!

A 4-H Livestock Extravaganza allows youth to acquire 2 of the 6 livestock hours required each year while demonstrating their knowledge of livestock in a fun and interactive way. “Parent and Me” classes will be offered for children 2 – 6 years of age, which are fun sessions for an adult and child to share.
Over 50 exhibitors from area agricultural and related businesses round out the event. Attendees can register to win a variety of door prizes that will be given away at the conclusion of the evening. Participants must be present to win. The customary “Milk and Cookie” break featuring all varieties of milk sponsored by Dairy Farmers of America and cookies baked by the MCTC Culinary Program is expected to be a popular feature of the evening, as it has been in the past.
