What is "Ready to Work?"
It is a partnership between KCTCS and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Ready to Work is designed to help low income parents enrolled at KCTCS.
Ready to Work can help with:
- Counseling (academic and career)
- Advocacy
- Mentoring
- Job references & referrals
- Job readiness training
- Life skills training
- opportunities to meet KTAP participation requirements
- and a possible placement in a work-study position
What is "Work & Learn?"
Work & Learn offers all of the benefits of Ready to Work to individuals who are enrolled in an adult education program working towards a GED.
