Join Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC) and college advisors from all of Kentucky’s public colleges and universities on Tuesday, September 30th at the Project Graduate Online College Fair and get on track for completing your degree. The Project Graduate Online College Fair will connect students with a college advisor who will provide assistance and answer questions about returning to college.

Maysville Community and Technical College will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 26th to recognize the grand opening of the Student Veteran Resource Center, located on the Maysville campus. The event will be held in the Calvert Lounge starting at 10:00 a.m. Guest speakers will include Kentucky Commissioner of Veterans Affairs Heather French Henry and MCTC student and former marine, Cody Wolfe.

On September 28, 2014, Maysville Community and Technical College, the National Coalition of Black Veteran Organizations and Mason County Government are hosting an event in Mays Lick, Kentucky honoring the legacy of Colonel Charles Young. The event is to mark the restoration of the birth cabin of Colonel Charles Young and premier a commissioned bronze maquette of his likeness and an exhibition entitled The Man, The Mission, The Facts.
